Mitchell P. Miraglia passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at the age of 67. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Slidell, LA. He was a graduate of Marion Abramson Senior High. Mitchell retired from the New Orleans Police Department where he was employed for over 38 years. His biggest interest was fighting for handicap access throughout New Orleans. Mitchell is survived by his mother, Joyce B. Leblanc; his sisters, Deborah Miraglia and Dionne McCorquodale (Troy); nieces, Emily Miraglia, Addison McCorquodale; and nephew, Ian McCorquodale. Relatives and friends are invited to attend services for Mitchell on Saturday, June 22, 2024 held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home.
