

Nathan is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Carolyn Steadman; his four daughters, Hope Dubuisson (Michael), Winter Normand (Timothy), Spring Murphy (Michael), and Alicia Laborde (Gant); his son, Nathan Steadman, III (Carol Ann); his ten grandchildren, Chance Naquin, Dillan Folse, Mia Thelemann, Michael Theleman, Cayden Lewis, Cullen Lewis, Dalton Theleman, Nathan Steadman, IV, Kinsley Murphy, and Mila Laborde; his great-granddaughter, Autumn Franks; his two sisters, Debbie Hammitt and Martha Connolly; his nephew, David Moore; and his niece, April Ridgel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Willette Sanford Steadman.
Nathan was born in New Orleans on January 16, 1956 and was a graduate of East Jefferson High School. He worked for Dorignac’s for over forty years as their liquor manager. Nathan was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints and horse racing. He was a wine connoisseur and loved traveling, music, and dancing… most of all he loved his kids and grandkids.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 11:00AM until 2:00PM. A service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home beginning at 2:00PM.
