Nettie S Palermo

She is a retired hairstylist and artist. She was a Eucharist minister at Divine Mercy Parish, she also won the St. Louis award. Nettie also enjoyed square dancing with her late husband at Bob-Cats and Bar-Non.

Nettie is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Spragio and Jane Crochet Spragio; husband, Joseph Palermo; sisters, Hilda, Wilba, Jane; brothers, Tony, John, Jimmy, and her son-in-law, Benny Landry.

She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Palermo Gourgues (Lou), and Gailin Palermo Landry; grandchildren, Keith Gourgues (Jan), Kevin Gourgues, Kurt Gourgues, Joey Landry (Whitney).

She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Brandon, Chad (Stephanie), Mary Katherine, Dylan, Ian, Conner, Chase, Cody, Ashley, and Adam; one great great grandchild, Charlotte Rose, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Divine Mercy Parish in Kenner, 4337 Sal Lentini Pkwy, Kenner, LA 70065. Visitation will begin at 11:30AM followed by Mass at 1:30PM.
