Orris Hammel Moffett, 88, passed away on May 29, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Moffett, Sr.; sisters, Mildred Rink and Adeline Cauche and brother, Owen Cauche. She is survived by her children, Margaret (Peggy) Harvin, Eileen Thomas (Kenny), Kathleen Luke (Jay), Donald R. Moffett, Jr. (Tamara), Warren (Al) Moffett, Thomas Moffett and grandsons, Beau, Donald and Deuce. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Russell Henry, Dr. Genevieve Maronge, Terrebonne General Medical Center and Haydel Hospice. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 6500 Kawanee Ave., Metairie, Louisiana at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to Mass and will begin at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Sisters of the Living Word, 800 N.
