Pal F. Moran Jr.

Pal F. Moran, Jr. passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Goldie Cattan Moran. Loving father of Bryant Moran, Robert Moran, Denise Moran Celona, Kevin Moran, Timothy Moran, Pal Moran III, Jennifer Moran Sillars, Leslie Moran Barron, Erin Moran Oster, and Russell Moran. Grandfather of Bryant Moran, Jr., Mindy Moran Le Meunier, Mali Moran, Cassidy Sillars, Chase Sillars, Dustin Moran, Danielle Celona, Jennifer Celona, Ryan Barron, Rachel Oster, Nicole Oster, and Luca Moran. Great grandfather of Carmine and Caydence Moran, and Lucie and Breslin Le Meunier. He is also survived by two nieces, Diane Schumert and Sherry Lewis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pal, Sr. and Alice Moran, and his sister, Helen Moran Lewis.

Pal was a veteran of the Army Air Corps 398th Bomb Group, and served during World War II. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11:00AM. A gathering will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00AM.
