

Patricia Margaret Daigre Knipper, age 96, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family on April 23, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Anton William Knipper, Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Hecker (Herb), Shirley Cospolich (Jim), and son, Anton William Knipper, Jr. Also survived by grandchildren Robin Daniels (Ed), Ronnie Hecker (Leah), Cindy Hoerner (Louie), Brian Cospolich (Liz), Jeffery Cospolich (Helen), Stephen Cospolich (Rose), Christopher Knipper and Michael Knipper, and great grandchildren Stephanie Riera, Christopher Riera, Jonathan Riera, Caitlyn Hoerner, Sarah Hoerner, Alina Cospolich, twins Madeline and Isabelle Cospolich, Erin Lagarde (Daniel), Ryne Daniels, Kayla Lacoste, and Sasha Gautreaux, as well as her neighbor and close friend Rose Rita Meyers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Heno and Katherine Daigre, her brothers, Heno Daigre and James Daigre, her sister, Aurelia Bigner, and half-brothers, Roy and Eddie Daigre.
Patricia was born in New Orleans and was a member of St. Agnes Church and a resident of Jefferson Parish for 68 years. She was an active member of Louisiana Women’s for Education Club, St. Angela Merici Senior Citizens Club, St. Matthew the Apostle’s Naim, St. Rita’s Silver Trotters, St. Louis Cathedral Senior Citizens Club, and Jefferson Playground Golden Agers. She retired from Ochsner’s Brent House Gift Shop.
The family would like to thank the Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care employees, Cozetta Dunham and Cynthia Hayes for their support and care, as well as Reverend Piero Caserta and his wife Lido for their spiritual and loving care. She was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at 12:00 Noon. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
