Patricia “Patsy” Anne Nolan, a lifetime resident of New Orleans, passed away peacefully on February 7th at the age of 86. Beloved daughter of the late James Teller Nolan and Marie Louise Grevemberg Nolan, she is survived by her loving companion, Linda Grace Skipper, her sister, Marie Louise Nolan Hattier , brother-in-law, Harold F. Hattier, nephew, Beau Hattier, and dear friend, Jacqueline Pace. Patsy retired as a supervisor of Entergy, formerly NOPSI, where she worked for many years. In 1956, she served as the chairwoman of the Women’s Committee. In her early years Patsy’s love of horses led her to travel with friends far and wide to English horse shows. In later years, she doted on her beloved dogs and cats. Patsy will be remembered by her many friends as the “Godmother” who enjoyed martini lunches with friends and Mardi Gras parades. She lit up a room with her bright cheerful smile. To know her was to love her. Friends enjoyed her storytelling, her wit, and charm. She left her many friends with the sentiment that she lived life to the fullest and was grateful for all of those who were a part of it. Her friends were equally grateful to be a part of her life. A special thanks to Holly Schorling, Stacey Becker, and Jennifer Harvell who showed their love and compassion in so many special ways in caring for Patsy in recent months. Patsy loved animals. Donations in her name to any no kill animal shelter would be appreciated. Services will be private. To sign and view the guest book, visit www.lakelawnmetairie.com.
