Paul Victor Brierre

Paul V. Brierre passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026 at the age of 92 with his wife of 69 years Murl and son Guy at his bedside. He was born in New Orleans to Roland T. and Clare P. Brierre on October 19, 1933.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Babette Catherine Clare Brierre and his brother Roland T. Brierre, Jr.

He is survived by his wife Murl, his son Guy (Pam), his granddaughters Catherine M. and Clare M. Brierre as well as his sister Clare Stewart (John) and his sister-in-law Louise Brierre along with several nieces and nephews.

He attended Tulane University and had a long and distinguished career at Sears Roebuck. His legacy lives on in the love he gave his family whom he cherished.

A private graveside service was held on April 20th at Metairie Cemetery.
