Paul James Gustafson Jr.

Paul James Gustafson Jr., 72, of Kenner, Louisiana, passed Friday, May 27th, 2022. Paul was born November 25th, 1949 in New Orleans where he was adopted by Eunice Liner Gustafson and Paul Gustafson Sr. He is survived by his wife, Joy Willoz Gustafson and his only daughter, Kim Gustafson Haar, from a prior marriage as well as his only grandson, Cole Michael Haar.

Paul served with great passion in the United States Marine Reserves for 6 years. After his service duties, he began his career at Gulf/Chevron Corporation in New Orleans where he spent 30 plus years as a Louisiana Facilities Manager until his retirement in 2003.

Paul always enjoyed working with his hands, reengineering anything electronic, “cruising”, and playing the drums. Along with spending quality time with his friends and family he always showered his cats with love and affection. For those closest to Paul, he will always be known as “Gadget Man”.

Paul’s wishes were no services, but rather just to celebrate his life with laughter and love. The family is asking in lieu of flowers to consider donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation at www.alzfdn.org at your discretion.
