Paul R. Thomas, Sr. passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the age of 95. He was born on October 11, 1922 to Wilfred and Mary Thomas in Amsbry, PA. He is survived by his wife of 73 years Melda C. Thomas. He leaves behind his two sons, Paul, Jr. (Toni) and Thomas (Wendy), his daughter, Kathleen Madron (Richard), his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
He was a WWII Veteran in the Army Air Corp. He served in the CCC camp as a young man. He was an employee of New Orleans Public Service. He was a member of the American Legion.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 12:00pm in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd.,
New Orleans. Visitation will begin at 10:00am. Interment will immediately follow mass at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
