Robert Lee Adcock

Robert Lee Adcock, age 70 years, passed away on November 14, 2015 at his home in Metairie, LA. Beloved husband of Antoinette Merlino Adcock for 16 years. Loving father of Jeff Adcock (Valerie) of North Liberty, IA and Perry Adcock (Sherri) of Metairie, LA. Step-father of Ronald S. Merlino and Brian S. Merlino. Son of the late Thomas R. Adcock, Sr. and Willie Mae Johnson Adcock. Grandfather of Bryson Adcock, Brayden Adcock, and Tyler Adcock. Brother of the late Richard “Dick” Adcock, Jr. Uncle of Ron Adcock and Rick Adcock. He was a retired Chief Petty Officer with the United States Navy serving with the Pacific Fleet during the Vietnam Conflict and also serving during the Persian Gulf War where he was involved in the Kuwait Liberation. After his military career, he worked and retired from the Office of Group Benefits of the State of Louisiana. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
