

He was a graduate of Holy Cross High School and joined the United States Air Force shortly after. He was sent to Yale University for an intensive course in the Chinese Mandarin language. He was then deployed to Taiwan, where he was a radio voice intercepting processing specialist. Honorably discharged, he returned to New Orleans and received a degree in accounting from University of New Orleans. He was a devoted husband and father with a strong work ethic and morals.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Joan; his parents, Henry and Solange Riecke; and brother, Henry Jr “Fritz”.
He is survived by his daughters, Kelly and Michelle; grandchildren Emily, Kaitlyn, and Abigail; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Sophie, and William; sister, Jean; and brother, Charlie.
At his request, there will be no service. We would like to thank our extended family, friends, and coworkers for their support during this this time.
