Robert James Rouyer, Sr. passed away at his residence on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at age 71, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of JoAnn Petersen Rouyer. Son of the late Louis Rouyer Sr. and Marjorie Landry Rouyer. Father of Robert James Rouyer, Jr. (Michelle), Shellie Burke (Tommy) and Joell Jones (Chris). Brother of Louis Rouyer Jr., Jeannette Simoneaux and Linda O’Neal. Grandfather of Dillon, Zack, Maddy, Austin, Jacob, Chase, Megan and McKenzie. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and his beloved dog Gunner. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
