Roselyn "Rose" Smith Reynolds

Roselyn (Rose) was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 30th to Anna M. Hofer and Roderick A. Smith.

Roselyn (Rose) was mother to her only son Rollie (Billy) C. Reynolds, Jr. and her only daughter Debra Lee (Debbie) Reynolds. She raised her children with love and devotion in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Roselyn (Rose) worked for numerous different Banking Institutions, Colonial, Hibernia, Capital One and Whitney Banks. She was known for her numerous different proficient Banking Skills/Traits, Teller, Administration, Communication Skills, Problem Solving, Customer Service, Numeracy Skills, Teamwork, Organization, Leadership and Time Management.

Her hobbies included Bowling, Creative Artistic Crafts, Being a Member of the Krewe of Iris Mardi Gras Organization for numerous years and Superb Cooking was her all time Favorite.

She is survived by her only Loving Daughter Debbie Reynolds Hutto along with her Favorite Son-In-Law Bud Hutto also Grandchild Summer A. Paschal who is the daughter of her only deceased son, Rollie (Billy) C. Reynolds, Jr. who was born out of wedlock, and she resides in Dayton, Ohio, her Great Grandson Anakin J. Cole who is the son of Summer Paschal. Also one brother Sterling Smith, Sr. and other Family members, numerous nieces and nephews and along with numerous very Compassionate Friends.

She is predeceased by her mother Anna M. Hofer, her father Roderick A. Smith, two brothers, Alvin Smith, Sr. and Mervyn Smith. Also her only begotten son Rollie (Billy) C. Reynolds, Jr.

Most importantly, she is predeceased by her Loving and Devoted companion of over 50 years, Stephen A. Norton, Sr. “Sweetie”.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the services which will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Lake Lawn Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd New Orleans, Louisiana 70124. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am followed by a Mass at 1:00 pm. Burial will be a Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.

Due to COVID, all visitors are required to wear a mask.
