Rosemary "Cookie" Jacobs Reeb

Rosemary “Cookie” Jacobs Reeb, a retired Lab Technician passed away at the age of 77 on February 12, 2025, at her home. She was born on April 04, 1947, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She graduated from Francis T. Nicholls High School. She enjoyed Gardening (especially roses), going to casinos, taking cruises, traveling, making cakes and adored spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Cookie was preceded in death by her parents, Emile Henry Jacobs Jr. and Rosemary Norvell Gonzalez and her stepfather Joseph Fernan Gonzales Sr.

Cookie is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years Charles “C.J. Reeb; her daughters, Jill R. Billot (Cristobal Billot) and Tracy Santos (Hank Santos); her grandchildren, Tré Wainwright, Holly Santos and Trent Santos; her great grandchild Rylie Wainwright; her sisters, Dottie Loupe and Jan Gonzalez; her brothers Emile Jacobs III (Skipper), Joseph F. Gonzalez Jr. (Joel), Karl Jacobs, Alan Jacobs and Doug Jacobs.

The family would like to give special thanks to Heart of Hospice for all their care and support.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. until the service time.
