Sally was born September 17, 1944 in New Orleans, LA to Eugene and Antoinette Herthum. She graduated from Francis T. Nicholls in 1962 and then went on to get married. After raising her children, she furthered her education and worked in a variety of legal administrative positions. After retirement, she loved spending her time bowling, dancing, and feeding ducks at the park.
Sally is survived by her children, son Gainer Nissen (Alison), and daughter Tiffany DeLatte (Todd); her step-son, Devin Neuburger; sister, Betty Stigler; as well as her six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home. Visitation begins at 2:00 pm and concludes with prayers in the parlor at 4:00 pm.
