Salvador Sacarias Pavón Campos on Thursday, June 4, 2015. He was born in Santa Cruz del Sur, Camaguey, Cuba on September 6, 1916. He moved to the United States on October 8, 1968. Beloved husband of the late Maria de Los Angeles Arias Sanchez Pavón. Father of Salvador II, Gladys, Georgina, Graciela, George, Gelcy, Melchor “Mel” (Gaspar), Gisela, Gilma, Guillermo (Willie), Gustavo, Gumerio (Mario) and Gerardo (Jerry). Son of the late Antonio Pavón Portales and the late Serafina Campos Lazo. Preceded by his brothers Juan Antonio, and Pedro Armando Pavón Campos, Eloi, Carlos Manuel and Juan Ramon Torrez Campos, also preceded by his sisters Castelia, Emilia, Leonor, and Iluminada Pavón Campos. Father-in-law of Manuel Zequeira, Antonio Piñon, the late Claude Boyd, Sr. (Son), the late Julio Lahera, Abdel Uzcategui, George Washington Torrez and Eduardo Rodriguez, Cristina, Nancy, and Lisa Pavón. Survived by 21 grandchildren: Madelayne, Pabel, Odalys (Leo), Graciela “Gracie” (Nick), George (Madelyn), Marco (Maria), Elizabeth, C.J. Jr. (Nicole), Janet (Alfredo), Angelica, Jennifer, Abdel Jr., Kristie, Louis, Brianna, Kolbie Ray, Gabriela, Salvador III, Alexander, Sandro, and Sergio, 20 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
