Salvatore Francesco Rabito

Salvatore Francesco Rabito, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and cherished friend to many, passed away on Monday, November 27th, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. His departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Sal’s unwavering love and dedication to his family defined him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will forever resonate within the hearts of his loved ones.

He is survived by his adoring wife and soulmate, Tammy Rabito, who shared a lifetime of cherished moments with him. Sal’s pride and joy were his children, daughter Amber Rose Rabito (Nick Moore) and son Jordan Rabito (Remie). He found immense joy and purpose in his role as a grandfather to Savanna, Madeline, and Cameron Moore and Roman and Olivia Rabito who held a special place in his heart.

Sal’s memory will also be carried on by his brother Anthony Rabito Jr., sisters Amelia and Ann Rabito, along with numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom held a significant place in his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Rose Rabito, whose values and love continue to live on in Sal’s family.

Services to celebrate Salvatore’s life will be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Thursday, December 7, 2023. Visitation will begin at 10 AM with a memorial service to follow at 12 PM. Sal will be laid to rest in All Saints Mausoleum following his services.
