Shirley Mae Landry, 82, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015 after a lengthy illness at Our Lady of Wisdom Health Care Center. She was born on January 16, 1933 in Baton Rouge, LA. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eoline Andre Landry and her father Abner Martin Landry, Sr. Shirley attended Baton Rouge High School. She was employed by the Louisiana State Department of Labor for 25 years. She is survived by a brother, Dr. Abner Martin Landry, Jr., and nieces and nephews, Dr. A. Martin Landry III, Dana Landry Roeling, Dr. Bernard “Bud” Landry, Christopher Landry and Paige Landry Rainey, and many great nieces and nephews. Our thanks and prayers go to all of the care givers at Our Lady of Wisdom that have taken care of Shirley for many years. Your love and devotion to her will never be forgotten. Interment will be at Resthaven Gardens Memorial, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA on Sept 19, 2015 at 10:00 am.
