Sidney Paul Ayala passed away at the age of 71 on Friday, January 6, 2023. He was born on May 26, 1951 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Louis Ayala and Elaine Larrieu Ayala. Sidney graduated High School and went to the US Army Reserves. He was a Sales Representative for a major plumbing company and a clerk for the City of New Orleans. It his free time he loved to do crossword puzzles and he was an avid Tulane fan.
He is preceded in death by his brothers Louis, Richard, and Gary.
He is survived by his wife; Peggy Blanchard Ayala of 40 years, his brother; Michael Ayala and his niece and nephews; Angela, Stanley, and Damon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, La 70124 on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 10AM-12:30PM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
