Sybil McIntosh

Mrs. McIntosh was the daughter of the late Thomas Dewey Vaughn and Lounette Flemming Vaughn. She was preceded in death by her husband of seven years, Thomas B. McIntosh; her two stepdaughters, Elizabeth “Liz” Nordvoll (Segurd) and Terry L. McIntosh; her two brothers, James “Jimmy” Vaughn and Calvin Vaughn; and her sister, Margaret Jones. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Francis "Frank" Bruce, of Greer, South Carolina and her second husband, Joseph Varisco, of Metairie, Louisiana.

Mrs. McIntosh is survived by her son, Rickey M. Bruce; her three stepchildren, Thomas McIntosh, Jr. (Chris), Jeanie Kuhn (Kenneth), and Kim Nicholas (Ron); her two grandchildren, Jennifer B. Morrison (Brad) and Jason P. Bruce (Sarah); and her four great-grandchildren, Gavin Morrison, Ella Morrison, Parker Bruce, and Aubrey Bruce. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Mcintosh was a graduate of Greer High School and moved to Louisiana in 1963.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the services at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. The visitation will begin at 10:00AM and a service will be held in the chapel at 12:00PM. The interment will follow the chapel service at All Saints Mausoleum (in Metairie Cemetery).
