Victoria Danna Williams

A member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 350, Bon Temps of St. Francis Xavier, and Go-Getters of Metairie, Victoria adored serving as a Eucharistic Minister for St. Francis Xavier, bowling, Bingo, going to the casinos, playing cards and the guitar, singing, volunteering for Meals on Wheels and others, gardening her daisies and pansies...and 'Vickie's medicine.'

Victoria is survived by her loving husband of 76 years Oneil J. Williams, Sr.; children Oneil J. Williams, Jr. (Dolly); Kathleen Williams Boothe (Fred), and Lisa Williams Banderet (Louis); brothers Pete Danna and Phillip Danna; grandchildren Jeffrey Williams, Robyn Grefaldon, Patrick Boothe, Caroline Williams, and Matthew Banderet; and great-grandchildren Alessandra Williams, Cameron Banderet, Kaleb Banderet, Vivien Williams, Mason Grefaldon, Hamid Tamimi, Carter Grefaldon, Riley Banderet, Safiya Tamimi, and Victoria Grefaldon. Victoria was preceded in death by parents Joseph P. Danna and Anna G. Danna; and siblings Mary Corpora, Patty Farina, and Vincent Danna.

The family would like to give special thanks to the caregivers at Peristyle at Bucktown and Heart of Hospice.

A visitation for Victoria will be held Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, followed by a funeral mass at 12:00 PM, and interment thereafter at Lake Lawn Park.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations are offered in memory of Victoria to the charity of your choice.
