

Vincent Joseph Ciolino passed away, peacefully on April 28, 2022, in Covington, Louisiana. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 4, 1940. Vincent grew up in the Gentilly Terrace Subdivision of New Orleans and attended Gentilly Terrace Elementary School. He graduated from Jesuit High School, where he was in the Honors Class and played Saxophone in the Jesuit band. He was a graduate of Tulane University and Tulane Law School.
Vincent practiced law in New Orleans and worked as a Land Man in the oil industry in Houston, Texas. He retired to Covington, Louisiana, where he was active in many local as well as national Camellia and Azalea clubs.
Vincent continued his love of music in retirement. He sang in the choir of St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Slidell and St. Peter Catholic Church in Covington. He enjoyed live music performances in many venues in Covington.
Vincent was an art lover and collected the works of many local artists. He worked as a volunteer at the Abita Springs Trailhead Museum.
Vincent is preceded in death by his father, Dr. Joseph J. Ciolino, and his mother, Lina Plescia Ciolino. He is survived by his brother, Joseph Charles Ciolino, and his sister, Jo-Ann Ciolino Adams, as well as his nephew, John Joseph Adams of Marietta, GA, and his niece, Melinda Ann Adams of San Francisco, CA.
A private Graveside Service was held on Friday, May 20, 2022 in Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans.
A Memorial Service in Celebration of Vincent’s Life will be held at a later date.
