

Vincent C. Lam passed away on March 26, 2021 at the age of 67. He was born on October 2, 1953 in Kowloon, Hong Kong. He was a Mechanical Engineer (Defense Industry) and additionally held a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He had a great love for photography, travel, hiking, and taking walks. He held three patents and received numerous awards distinguishing his accomplishments in his field, including Engineering Excellence and Author of the Year.
He is preceded in death by his father, Kam Por Lam. He is survived by: his wife of 19 years, Amelia “Amy” Autin Lam; his mother, Soo Ying Chan; his daughters, Caroline MeiSei Lam and Allison MeiBo Lam; his sons, Vincent WingWah Lam, Christopher KinWah Lam, and Brian Hong Wah Lam; his sisters, LaiShan Anita Lam and LaiHing Rita Lam; and his brother, ChiMing John Lam.
The family would like to give their special thanks to Drs. Katherine H. Noe and Iryna M. Muzyka of the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ. They would also like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Euodia Chua, Dr. Vivienne C. Meanger, Dr. Laurie Thomas, and to American Airlines.
Those wishing to leave memorial tributes in Vincent’s honor are encouraged to donate to the Mayo Clinic in Arizona, The ALS Association of Arizona Chapter, and the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona.
The family intends to hold a “Celebration of Life” service for the deceased, but the place, date, and time are unknown at this point due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. Further information will be forthcoming.
