VIRGIE LENORA LOTT SAMUELSEN, 85 of Mandeville La. passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, in Mandeville. Widow of the late Pere Samuelsen; Mother of Ann Marie Moesta Lazo, and William Roy Moesta III; Daughter of the late Perry Andrew Lott and Avia Maire Simoneaux; Sister of Gerald Lott, and the late Perry Lott Jr. Also survived by 5 grandsons: Jason M. Moesta, Marcos A. Lazo, Jared M. Lazo, William R. Moesta IV, and Cameron P. Moesta; and 7 great-grandchildren. Virgie was a native of Gretna and resident of Slidell for over 30 years. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Pontchartrain Health Care Center and St. Catherine’s Hospice. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Friends may visit at 11:00 AM.
