William "Bill" Lee Heidingsfelder passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the age of 71. Bill was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 26, 1946 to the late Harold E. and Mary Babst Heidingsfelder.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Anne Moreland Heidingsfelder; his daughters, Katherine Heidingsfelder Eddins (Scott) and Lee Heidingsfelder Vonderhaar (Drew); his grandchildren, Michael Scott Eddins, Meredith Katherine Eddins and Remy William Vonderhaar; his four brothers, Harold H., Charles E., Robert B., and Thomas L. Heidingsfelder; and his godchildren, Scott Harold Heidingsfelder, Ryan William Mire, Heidi Mary Heidingsfelder and Adair Vulevich Moseley.
Bill was a graduate of De La Salle High School and studied at Christian Brothers College in Memphis, Tennessee. He was a true New Orleanian, always enjoying all the offerings and traditions of his city with family and friends. He'll always be remembered for his "Bill stories" and his infectious laughter. He will be incrediably missed by all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home in New Orleans, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until service time. A private interment will take place at a later date.
