William Hayes Roycroft went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the age of 88. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a resident of Mandeville. He was a retired Iron Worker and served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed playing tennis.
Beloved husband of 50 years to Norma Lucero Roycroft. Son of the late Newton J. Roycroft and Ada Blake Roycroft. Loving stepfather of Peggy McSpaddin (Ray), Cheryl Luce (Paul), Joan McSpaddin (Danny), Johnny Trapani and Laura Simone (Marty). Brother of the late Betsy R. Wallace and Brother in law of the late C. Stan Wallace. Grandfather of the late Sean Simone. Uncle of Allison W. Nelson and Ian Wallace. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and 3 great nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124 on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 12:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will take place in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
