Wilmer F. Savana passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the age of 85. He proudly served in the US Air Force. Wilmer has now rejoined his late wife Alice Hammel Savana. He is survived by his children: Rickey Savana, Terry Dewenter and Robin Crowley. Grandfather of Keith Dewenter, Phillip Dewenter, Melissa Hoffman, Brian Perilloux Jr., Joshua Perilloux, RJ Savana and Nicole Doran. Great-grandfather of Keith A. Dewenter, Cameron Anthony and Alice Hoffman. He is also survived by his siblings: Janet Chatellier and Joseph Savana. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 11AM .
