

Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Walter R. Morris; her brother, John F. King; her sister, Mary Fishman-Carey; and her parents, Martin and Anna King.
Anne is survived by her nieces and nephews, Eileen Parker, Martin King, John King, Harold Fishman, Diane Schneckenburger, and Brenda Perone; 2 great-nieces and 2 nephews; a great-great niece and 2 nephews, her sister-in-law, Hannah King, her stepchildren and step-grandchildren.
Anne’s lifelong career began as a librarian and then usher at the Shubert Theaters, to being J.J. Shubert’s secretary and then manager of the Booth Theater until her retirement and move to Florida in 1986.
Anne loved her job and spoke fondly of those she worked with and met during her career. She loved her family, Catholic faith, her pets, traveling, shopping, and helping others. She always had a big smile, loved to visit with family and friends and share stories of her career working on Broadway.
Anne will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, she will be forever in our hearts , and never far from our thoughts and prayers.
A funeral service will be held in her honor on Monday, September 11, 2023.
Visitation at Meadow Lawn Funeral Home at 9:00 am - 10:30 am.
Followed by Mass at St. Michael’s Catholic Church at 11:00 am.
Burial at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 1:30 pm.
