Anthony was born on December 21, 1940, in Palermo, Sicily. His family immigrated to the United States in the early 1950s. As a young adult, he faced the profound loss of both his older brother and father to illness. In the wake of their passing, he stepped into the role of caregiver for his heartbroken mother.
He met the love of his life, Mary, and they married in 1965. Together, they raised three sons and built a life centered around family. He cherished time spent with his sons, daughters-in-law, four grandchildren, and extended relatives.
Anthony's strong work ethic was driven by his desire to provide his family with a better life than the one he had known growing up. His strength was rooted in the love and kindness he extended to everyone he met. He was a man of unwavering values.
Our family has lost a remarkable husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend—and the world has lost a true steward of life.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Mineo; his sons, Vincent (Tondra), Joseph (Janet), and Anthony (Tamara); his grandchildren, Vincenzo, Monica, Dominick, and Joseph; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.
