He moved to Florida in 1976 where he began his career with UPS. Charlie was an avid bowler and beloved coach who was inducted into the ABC Hall of Fame for meritorious service. He volunteered for Life Link for over 25 years after his 1st kidney transplant in 1985. Playing guitar and music were his passion and was best known for his jokes and making everyone smile.
Beloved son of the late Stefanina and John J. Mario, Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Kathy; son, Tony; brothers, John(Louise); Stephen (Helen); sisters, Elena (Frank) Chiacchio; Regina (Tom) Burns; and an extended and loving family.
