He was married to Terrie Fitz on July 16th, 1965.
Gary had a career in Civil Services for the U.S. Army, North Miami Beach Police, Clay County Sheriffs and The Department of Defense. He was a member of 1st Cavalry Association-Alumni of the first team and had a passion for fishing, working in the yard and politics.
He is survived by his wife Terrie Rhodes. His children Richard Rhodes, Erica Flam and Mike Rhodes.
Grandchildren Jacob, Casey, Andrew, Ben, Harry, Kayla, Aaron, Emily, Kayleigh, Jorie, Yesung, Yein and Yechan. Great-Grandchildren Sumiko, Ronnie and Clementine and His sister Valerie Humphrey.
A visitation for Gary will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652, followed by a Memorial service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
