It's been a year and my heart still feels the pain. I talk with you everyday. I see you and hear your voice. Memories fill my days. A special bond we have together. One of our favorite weekend spots was going to "Junk in the Trunk", then trying to hit every Garage Sale and Thrift store we could find for the rest of the day.

We "Snuck" Bourbon in one day while everyone was gone and went to PetSmart and loaded up on all things we would need for a cat.  From that day, We all became inseparable and I cannot count the amount of times you two would make me laugh together.

You came into my life at a point when I had almost no one, and loved me as your own and saw something in me I didn't.  Thank you so much for your never ending love and support and your attitude that lifted me up every time I needed it.  A piece of my heart is always with you as you will forever be with me.  I loved you as a Dad and always will.  Thank you for making me into the person I am today.  I love you forever, Abby.

We found this Ghost baking pan while garage sailing and of course had to give it a try!  (You can also see the Hot dog roller we thrifted too!)

James Caruso, my 1st French kiss....... I can still remember how your breath felt all of these years later, you were a true gentleman and a soft kisser. (Will have this special memory all the way to my grave)
Like most, we left on our own journey and lost all contact over the years.  
Some people are only in our lives for a few mins, few hours, few years, etc. 
Caruso will be in my heart, where he has been since 1992.

You were bigger than life and left an impression on everyone you met. Our friendship, starting in Coach Mooney's 8th grade math class, became one of the most important friendships of our teen years. So many great memories of summertime pool parties, teen night at Lane Glo, countless hours playing basketball, our first cars, so many great memories on our way to becoming adults. I always felt cooler than I was because you were my friend. Even the impact of your parents (Sarah and Joe) had on me and my decision to join the Air Force and their life advice, I will forever be grateful. Your mom made me promise not to put my education on hold when I joined and I didn't, the base education center became a hangout for me. Thanks to your dad, I know the perfect length for a self defense chain and the value of carrying a good roll of quarters. Miss you buddy and I will carry your memories with me.

James was a special friend/ family to me. I’m definitely going to miss him a lot. He’s the type of person that would give his shirt off his back for anyone!!!! The last couple of days has been hard for me, But  I know Your Dad & you are having a blast in the Almighty Heavens!!!

You will be missed by many. My move back home to Texas left us unable to reconnect, however I've admired you ever since we tried to be boyfriend and girlfriend in 8 th grade. You always made me feel so good about myself. This loss is so tragic. Sending prayers and loving thoughts to your loved ones. I'll see you again one day!

I have no idea what they were putting together but they were having fun.

It's so hard to say goodbye to you. You were always larger than life. Spending the time we had together was everything.  I'm so lucky we picked each other. I love you so much. As we always told each other, you will always be my favorite.  I love you Monk, love your Pookie.

Not only are you my best and closest friend but my brother. It's difficult to accept that physically you aren't here with us any longer and there with Dad trying to give God advice on how to invest in humanity or asking the angels about their frequent flyer miles.
We were supposed to grow old together and move to the same nursing home with our customized walkers and onesies.
I love you bro and miss more than you will ever know

James, James: I don't understand. You have a part of my heart always. You always knew how to make me laugh. We were special friends as well as mother and son. You cared for other more than yourself. Remember I'll be with you forever. Love you little squirrel.
