Joseph L. Giannetti left our presence on Saturday, November 26, 2022. While our world is dark today, Joseph left it so much brighter than when he entered his life. He was born December 15, 1953, in Newark, NJ to Anthony M. and Rose Giannetti. Joseph graduated from Vailsburg High School and then had a long successful career as a serviceman with Public Service Electric and Gas Company. Joseph was a volunteer firefighter with the Lake Hiawatha and Caldwell NJ Fire Departments, something that to this day his embodiment of public service. Joseph was an exceptional son, brother, uncle, and friend. But none of those titles were his greatest accomplishments. Husband and partner, truly defined him. He married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Patricia Young in 1976. Together they made a home first in Caldwell, NJ then finally to New Port Richey, FL. After retirement from PSE&G Joe continued to work for 27 years for the cable company, but mostly made friends and left his stamp on our world. His departure has left us heartbroken, but he has joined Rose and Tony in Heaven.
Joseph was predeceased by his parents, grandparents, his in-laws and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife Patricia of Florida, his brother, Dr. Anthony and Karen Giannetti of Huntingdon Valley, PA and Gerard and Malinda Giannetti of Roseland, NJ. Joseph's true treasures in life are his nieces and nephews, Gabrielle Hackenburgh, Angela and Anthony Giannetti Jr., Bruno and Danny Giannetti; Matthew, Adam, Robin, and Taylor Young. He also had 5 great nieces and nephews.
