

June Pascoe Holcombe was born June 15, 1944 to the late Edith Hinton Pascoe and Russell George Pascoe. Born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She met the love of her life James Raymond Holcombe at age 15. They were married at age 19 on August 31, 1963. In 1964 together they immigrated to the United States and settled in Connecticut where they built their life and raised their three daughters. After retirement together they moved to Hudson Florida where they have lived for the last 15 years.
June leaves behind her Husband of 52 years, James Raymond Holcombe, their three daughters Kimberly Lynn Holcombe, Kelly Holcombe Parson, and Chantal Holcombe Cook and their Husbands Mark Parson, and Thomas Cook. June leaves behind seven Grandchildren, Danielle Cushman, Robert Pagano, Mindy Parson, Kyle Parson, Katie Holcombe, Trevor Cook and Thomas Cook, her sister Dawn Pascoe Testa and many Nieces and Nephews. June was predeceased by her brothers Russell Pascoe and Douglas Pascoe.
June was truly devoted to her family and was always willing to go above and beyond to help everyone.
Junes main career was a homemaker but also worked as a daycare provider at South Windsor Daycare Center, watching neighborhood kids, South Windsor Public Schools Cafeteria and JC Penney Outlet Store.
June was an incredibly talented artist as a seamstress creating clothes and making dolls, Crocheting and Knitting baby clothes, blankets and toys. She created with medians such as Stained glass and Ceramics. She enjoyed spending her time gardening, reading, relaxing by the pool and summers camping at Gardner Lake in Salem Connecticut. She also enjoyed traveling, collecting dolls, going shopping, spending time at the Casino, and being with family and friends.
June devoted her time to her family raising her girls and being a very active Grandmother, She was a care giver to her Father, Mother, Father in law and Mother in law. June was a dog lover and had many loved pets throughout her life.
June leaves behind a legacy of always putting others before herself, truly a selfless woman and an inspiration to us all. June had an iron will, even while battling cancer and completing her treatments she stayed positive and active through out her illness. On January 17, 2016 June was called home and began her Celestial Journey. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
