Murro, Leonard Louis, 81 passed away on August 29, 2013, Born on February 23, 1932 in Morristown, N.J., Leonard is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Gloria Hager Murro of New Port Richey, Fla., 5 Beloved daughters, Gloria Murro of Quakerstown, Pa., Barbara Murro & Jim Miller of New Port Richey Fla., AnnMarie Giammanco of Monterey,Ca., Diane & Scott Baker of New Port Richey, Fla., & Lucy Murro-Inneo & Paul Reed of Famingdale, N.J., ; 10 grandchildren, Robin, Kimberley & Diane of Pa., Mindy of N.C., Jennifer of N.J., Vincent & Leonard of Monterey Ca., Brittany & Heather of New Port Richey, Fla. and Rocco of Deerfield Beach, Fla.& 9 Great grandchildren, Floyd, Tyler, Shelby, Shyla, Taylor,Dylan & Lashauna of Pa., Abigail & Emma of N.C., And 3 Great-great grandchildren, Makenna, Brody and Breeleigh of Pa., Leonard's beloved furry pet Mia "The Italian Chihuahua Stunod", And his brother Rocco & Elaine Murro of Madison, N.J. And several niece's and nephews. Leonard is predeceased by his loving parents Peter and Anna (Cassamassa) Murro of Morristown, Beloved son Leonard Louis Murro Jr., granddaughter Genevieve Gloria Giammanco, And sister Lucy Perone. Leonard joined the Roller Derby in 1950 where he met the love of his life Gloria and married soon after in Long Island, NY in 1950, He raised his children in Madison & Morris Plains NJ . Along with enjoying the roller derby Leonard also enjoyed diving ,speed skating & swimming in which he earned numerous medals.and also had a love for bowling. Leonard is retired from Ciba - Geigy of Summit, NJ after 25 years of employment, After retirement Lenny & Gloria moved to Florida, He enjoyed golf, gardening and spending quality time with family, Leonard was a member of the Knights Of Columbus and Lady Queen of Peace Church in New Port Richey, Fla..
