93, of Palm Harbor, Florida, formerly of Sykesville passed away December 18, 2016 after a brief illness. Lorraine was born on September 1, 1923 in Uniontown, PA. She married Robert Vanatt on June 3, 1944. Lorraine retired from teaching special education after 25 years in the Reynoldsville and Punxsutawney school districts. In 1984 they moved to Tarpon Springs, FL to begin their retirement in the south. She was an active member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Sykesville and then the Sun Coast Baptist Church in New Port Richey, FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert of 61 years and her brother Richard Lint. She will be greatly missed by her three daughters, Suzanne (William) Reiter, Altoona, Pa., Deborah (David) Nuttle, Salisbury, MD, and Kathy(Rick) Wise , Punxsutawney, PA.; 7 grandchildren: Jen(Rob) Yaw, Tim(Sarah) Reiter, Jonathan (Lauren) Nuttle, Katie (Jason) Freese, Michael Nuttle, Ben (Tash) Wise, and Adam Wise; 10 great grandchildren; and brother, Charles Lint.
A memorial service will be held at Coral Oaks, Palm Harbor, FL on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sun Coast Baptist Church, 4726 State Road 54, New Port Richey, FL 34652.
