Maria E Rosario

Maria Elba Rosario, age 91, of Port Richey, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2025. She was born on October 29, 1934, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, and from an early age her life was marked by a deep love for God and His Word.

Maria was the beloved wife of Victor Concepcion Rosario and a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. She dedicated her life to missions work, answering God’s call to share the Gospel wherever He led her. A devoted member of the Assemblies of God Church, Maria had a powerful passion for preaching the Word of God, prayer, and ministering to others. Her life reflected unwavering faith, obedience, and trust in the Lord.

She was a loving mother to her six daughters: Isabel Maria Barrera, Judith Martinez, Arcenia Martinez, Christina Martinez, Maria Elba Feliciano, and Ivette Martinez. Maria was also a cherished grandmother to Raul, Tlauiz, Araceli, Maria, Sarah, Jessica, Madeline, Miguel, Carlos, Salvador, Christina, and Tatiana. Her family was one of her greatest blessings, and she faithfully prayed over each generation.

Maria is survived by her brother, Juan Martinez, as well as many extended family members, church family, and friends who were blessed by her testimony, wisdom, and love for Christ.

Arrangements are entrusted to Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.

Maria Elba Rosario fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. Her life was a living testimony of God’s grace, and her legacy of faith will continue through the many lives she touched for the Kingdom of God. Though she will be deeply missed, her family rejoices knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior.

A visitation will be held on December 29, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, located at 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652.

The funeral service will follow on the same day from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the same location.

A graveside service will take place from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Meadowlawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 4244 Madison St, New Port Richey, FL 34652.
