After moving to the Philadelphia area in 2004 to work with Genesis Healthcare, he returned to New Port Richey in 2007 to join Therapy Management Corporation. He retired in 2012 due to declining health. In 2019, Mike proudly became a spokesperson for the Centers for Disease Control’s “Tips from Former Smokers” campaign, enjoying recognition from those who saw his commercials.
Mike met the love of his life, Edna, on Memorial Day weekend in 1999, and they were married on April 18, 2009. Together, they enjoyed traveling in their RV, singing, hosting friends and family, and sharing joyful moments.
