Paula Hollis

Paula Hollis, age 46, of New Port Richey, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. She was born in Madison Heights, MI on September 25, 1976. Paula graduated from Madison High School and received her Bachelors from Oakland University. She was a long-time partner of Steve Cochenour. Paula had a career with The Detroit Zoological Society for 15 years, and then followed her dream of becoming self-employed as a Photographer/Graphic Design Artist. She was published in Shutter Up Magazine, The PhotograpHER and DAM (Dance Artistry Magazine). She was a member of Professional Photographer Association, and had a passion for poetry, photography for which she was published for both. She was an avid supporter of the Arts.

Paula is survived by her long-time partner Steve Cochenour and daughter Violet Grace Hollis-Cochenour. Her brothers David (Connie Wauchek) Hollis, Richard (Sheena McCluney) Barber, Sister Kathy (Eric) Fulton. Along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, her cherished pets and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Violet Marie and Roy Houston Hollis, her sisters Bonnie Sue Hollis and Patricia Thompson.

A visitation for Paula will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652. A graveside service will occur Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652.
