

2021.Richard was born in Cleveland and later raised in Euclid, Ohio.
Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife Carol, and is survived by his loving family:
step daughters Kellie Workman, Deborah Jones, Loretta (Lori) Gore, and Tina Jarrett. Richard
had ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter, as well
as his sister Carol Turner, and many nieces and nephews.
Richard graduated from Euclid Central High School in 1949, and served honorably in the U.S.
Navy 1951-55. He attended Fenn College ( Cleveland State University), served as president of
his fraternity, and graduated in 1958 with a BBA degree-majoring in industrial management.
He worked for 12 years in management positions for a major Cleveland company. He then
pursued other opportunities in sales and management positions.
He was a long time member of the exchange club of Euclid, Ohio, and served as president
1970-71. Major hobbies included golf and bowling league competition.
Richard and his wife moved to Tarpon Springs in 1991, where he worked 12 years with a local
company until his retirement in 2004 at age 74.
A mass for Richard will be held at St Ignatius Roman Catholic church in Tarpon Springs on
September 25th at 11:00. This is open for all to attend. A private service for the family will be held at
Meadowlawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens at 2pm.
