Lillian was born In New York, New York on July 1, 1929.
She graduated from Adelphi University and also received her Masters from Adelphi University. She was married to Ronald Halsey Thompson on September 9th 1951.
Lillian had a career in Education for several schools. She was a member of American Association of University Women and had a passion for women's rights and ecology issues.
She is survived by her children Karl Thompson and Karen Gillum, her grandchildren Brian Thompson. Russell Thompson, Kathleen Harris and Johanna Gillum and her 5 great grandchildren.
