

Bill passed away peacefully July 1,2023 with his wife of 50 years, Michaela (Schleicher) Ballou by his side. Bill was born December 13th, 1951 to William P. Jr. & Mary Ballou in Kansas City Missouri. Bill had 4 siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents, His older brother John, his sister Beverly and nephew Rodney Gerke.
He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Tim & Lisa Ballou, daughter and son in law Stephanie (Ballou) and Jeremy Cain Sr. Sisters Caroll (Ballou) Gerke & spouse David Gerke. Dawn Ballou, and sister-in-law Diane Ballou.
Bill leaves 4 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. Ellania Ballou, Cierra Cain, Allysa Cain, Jeremy Cain Jr. Lacey Gibson and Alexis Taylor. Step Great Grandchildren Brayden and Jersey Gibson.
Bill is also survived by 4 Brother in laws and 4 Sister in laws and their spouses. Cheri Schleicher, Richard Schleicher, Dean and Gatha Schleicher, Pam and Dennis Braden, Dan and Janolyn Schleicher, Becky and Charlie Roy, Patrick and Deanna Schleicher, Lisa and Nick May. 33 nieces and nephews and 40 great nieces and nephews.
Bill served in the U.S. Army, was a civil servant for the City of Shawnee, and retired from AT&T after putting in 40 years of service.
He was a very kind and caring person & was loved by all who knew him.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in his honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, July 29 from 4:00-8:00. The 180 Room at 11944 S. Strangline Road, Olathe KS 66062. The family requests no one under the age of 17 attend. Space is limited.
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. Revelations 21:4
