The Massachusetts native formerly of Wellesley, MA and Largo, FL retired from Allied Auto Parts of Canton, MA.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Margaret Gandy Columbus and son-in-law, Paul Bessette.
He is survived by his daughter, Carol Bessette, granddaughter, Amanda Bessette and Great-granddaughter, Skyla, of Litchfield, NH; son, William M. Columbus and companion, Colleen Jessen of New Port Richey, FL; son, Michael G. Columbus and companion, Barbara A. Pulling of Port Richey, FL, granddaughter, Michele V. and husband, L.Cpl. Keith Clark USMC, great-granddaughters, Shealyn, Hayli, and Annabell of Havelock, NC; daughter, Amy Maciulewicz and husband, George, grandchildren, Nicholas James, Janelle Nicole, and Kaidee Lynn, and great-grandson, Braylen of Rincon, GA.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2011, at the North/Meadowlawn Chapel of Memories in New Port Richey beginning at 12noon. Remembrances may be given to HPH Hospice Foundation 12107 Majestic Blvd. Hudson, FL 34667.
