Blair Ryan Mills, lovingly known as B, Blair Bear, Snick, Bucky, Sweet B and B Butt, passed away at the tender age of 2. Though her time on earth was far too short, Blair's bright smile left an everlasting imprint on every heart she touched.
From the moment she entered the world at 1 lb 9.5 oz, Blair was a fighter — brave, strong, and full of joy. Though she was small, Blair's love was larger than life. Her happiness was infectious, and her laughter became the sweetest soundtrack to the lives of those who loved her. She was a ray of sunshine, a little girl with a big personality, who could turn an ordinary day into something unforgettable. She taught her family what it means to live with courage, joy, and unwavering faith. Her gentle soul and fearless heart will forever be a reminder that some of the brightest lights burn in the smallest bodies.
Blair's days were filled with simple yet beautiful moments. She loved dancing to Ms. Rachel and Cocomelon, having tea parties with her mama, riding on the golf cart with her daddy, and playing cards with her family. Shopping trips, snuggles, and being surrounded by her favorite people brought her endless joy. Her gentle spirit and fearless heart reminded everyone around her how precious life is — to celebrate every little moment.
While Blair's earthly journey has ended, her family finds peace in knowing she is home now. She is dancing among the angels and watching over all who love her. In God We Trust.
Blair is deeply loved and will be forever missed by her devoted parents, Christian and Kayla Mills; her grandparents, Ryan and Tina Osborne, Brad and Marcia Mills, and Josh and Brooke Harris; her great grandparents, Donald and Rosalea Tepool, Jacqueline Mills, Dave and Jana Morris, and Greg Howell; her aunts and uncles, Joshua and Bailey Mills, Cameron Harris and her cousin, Kenley Mills — along with countless family members and friends who were blessed to know her.
She is preceded in death by her great grandparents, Joseph Mills, Bill and Sandra Farrar, Vicki Schenk, and Robert and Betty Schnute.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to AmyandFriends.org or TheCockayneSyndromeFoundation.org in Blair's memory of her journey with Trichothiodystrophy— a tribute to the strength she carried and the love she shared.
Family and friends can gather to celebrate Blair's life on Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, Newburgh, Indiana with a service to follow. Blair's final resting place will be at St. John's Cemetery in Daylight, IN.
