

Casper W. “Bill” Miller, 78, of Newburgh passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, March 12, 2022. He was born December 27, 1943 in Chicago, IL to the late Casper Miller and LoVota (Scott) Miller.
He was an avid golfer and bowler, and enjoyed swimming with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved family gatherings. Bill retired from Silgan Closures after 50 years of service in 2012.
Bill is survived by his wife, Joan Miller; daughters, Sandra Zaucha (Tony) of Kenosha, WI and Elizabeth Latham (Henry) of Poseyville, IN; son, Brian Miller of Poseyville, IN; step-daughters, Kim McDonald (Jim) and Kathy Alton (Matt) both of Evansville, IN; siblings, Chuck Miller (Laurie) of Orangeville, PA, Hazel Pecoraro (Mike) of Robinsonville, NC, Sharon Stirn of Peoria, IL, Charlotte Gibis (John) of Princeton, WI, Evelyn Klefeker (Alex) of San Antonio, TX, Ida Pruemer of Kingsville, TX and JoAnn Hand (Bob) of Pensacola, FL; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Reinhart.
A Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2022 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, officiated by Rev. Roger Kiegel, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may visit 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday March 17, 2022 and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
