

She graduated from Washington High School in Portland, Oregon. Charlotte worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken in the Portland area and became a homemaker afterward. When her mother passed away, Charlotte took on the role as the family matriarch. She had a tremendous love for animals.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her mother, Loraine Hebert; father, Lamar Clanton; stepfather, Gene Hebert; and grandmother, Mary Shaw.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, David Hornbuckle of Newburgh; daughter, Alexandria Hornbuckle Franke (Brice) of Ekron, KY; stepsons, David A. Hornbuckle of Puyallup, WA, and Christian Hornbuckle of Portland, OR; son, Karl Fink (Jennifer) of Charlotte, NC; brothers, Richard L. Clanton (Lynn) of Puyallup, WA, Shawson Hebert (Nichole) of West Monroe, LA; Richard Mayfield and Tony Clanton, both of Mobile, AL; sisters, Lori Naranjo (Ken) of Marianna, FL, and Jeannine Muilenberg (Terry) of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Carson Levi Franke and Samuel Fink.
Services will be 11 AM, Monday, December 19, 2011, at Pearson Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Rd, Middletown, KY, officiated by Pastor Jammie Vance, with burial at Ekron Baptist Church Cemetery in Ekron, KY. Friends may visit 1-6 PM, Sunday, December 18, and Monday, 10 AM until service time at the funeral home.
