Dennis Heaton Williams

Dennis H. Williams, 69, of Newburgh, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2020. He was born February 28, 1951 in Greencastle, IN to the late Wallace and Mary Katherine (Helderman) Williams. He was employed with Laurel Grocery Company. Dennie was a big sports fan, following the New York Yankees and IU Basketball. He enjoyed times at the beach with family. He loved attending his children’s activities, coaching softball and being part of the band pit crew. He especially enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter, Ella. Dennie is survived by his wife, Beth Williams (Richey); son, Zachery Williams (JC); daughter, Natalie Oxley (Tony); granddaughter, Ella Oxley; sister, Deanna Heckman (John); nephew, Trent Heckman; niece, Courtney Biehl (Ted); nephew, Corby Heckman (Jessica); niece, Andrea Singer; nephew, Ryan Hoefling (Samatha); niece, Lora Lin (Thomas); niece, Brittany Roudenbush (Terry); 16 great-nieces and nephews; 2 aunts; sisters-in-law, Tina Hargrove and Laura Hoefling (Dan), and brother-in-law, Bruce Richey (Julie). A Private Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 418 N. Wabash Avenue. Burial will follow at Alexander Memorial Park Cremation Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions made to the Linda E. White Hospice House, 611 Harriet Street, Evansville, IN 47710 or if you prefer, outdoor plants for the family.
