

Jim was a WWII Army Veteran serving in France and he was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Jim retired from Faultless Caster and worked several jobs to support his family. He was a hard worker and family man.
When Jim wasn’t working he spent time with his family. He would drive several hours to Lincoln State Park to meet his family and then return to his next job.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, and was involved with Cub Scouts when his children belonged.
Jim and his wife, Elizabeth, have served as positive and strong examples for their children and grandchildren to follow.
He was preceded in death by his two sisters and three brothers.

Wedding and wife Cindy, Chandler, AZ, and Sharon L. Konopka and husband Keith, Chandler, IN; grandchildren, Donovan W. Wedding, Owensboro, KY, Jennifer R. Wedding, Vineta, OK, Julie A. Corzelius and husband James, Tulsa, OK, Tara L. Carlisle and husband Jason, WA, Nichole K. Wedding, Newburgh, Jeffrey A. Wedding and wife Krista, Newburgh, Matthew B. Wedding, Evansville, Daniel G. Wedding, Spring, TX, Jacob M. Wedding, Cincinnati, OH, Carie A. Brown, Evansville, Amy M. Brown, Terre Haute, IN, Trevor S. Wedding and Tyler S. Wedding both of Fountain Hills, AZ, Scott A. Wedding, Mesa, AZ, Heather L. Williams and husband Steve, Evansville, Micha D. Gardner and husband Adam, Evansville, Kassi G. Peerman and husband Jacob, Indianapolis, and Caleb G. Konopka and wife Alicia, Crossville, TN; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd, Newburgh, officiated by Father Joseph Ziliak with entombment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Rd 261, Newburgh and on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home Monday at 7:00 PM.
