Jane L. Wittenbraker

Jane L. Wittenbraker, 81, of Newburgh, IN passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. She was born in Evansville on June 3, 1937 to the late George and Elsie Pheral. She was a past member of Peace Lutheran Church in Evansville. Jane enjoyed crocheting, fishing, boating, wild animals and being outdoors. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; brothers, George, Dale, and Dan Pheral; son-in-law, David Collins; and daughter-in-law, Brenda Wittenbraker. Jane is survived by her son, James Wittenbraker (Tammy) of Newburgh; daughters, Janet Kieffer (Bud) of Mt. Carmel, IL, Cindy Collins of Newburgh, IN, Terri Asher (Jamie) of Evansville, IN; 8 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Betty Pheral. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, June, 3, 2019 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel officiated by Rev. Matt Breivogel with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit 2-6 p.m. on Sunday and 9:00 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
